Brotherly harmonies at The Kate’s Black Friday concert

OLD SAYBROOK — To kick off the holiday season, The Meadows Brothers, the Chester-born-and-bred rising stars of Americana and roots music, will join their majestic vocal harmonies with the Ebin-Rose Trio, Moving Target, Hugh Birdsall, Lauren Agnelli & Friends, and Carter Gowrie & Friends, at the Annual Black Friday Benefit Concert on Friday, Nov. 29 at The Kate.

All ticket and CD proceeds will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Gowrie Group Challenge, which directly benefits the Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries.

“This concert brings together our mission of presenting quality entertainment on our stage with local and timely support of one of the most impactful service organizations on the Shoreline,” said Brett Elliott, executive director of The Kate.

The concert will take place at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 at The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, 300 Main St. Old Saybrook.
