In Bridgeport, popular and outspoken comic D.L. Hughley is scheduled to perform for six shows in four days at Stress Factory Bridgeport, 167 State St., from Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 22-25. Masks are required when not seated. Tickets are for table seating — $80 for two, $160 for four, $240 for six.

Adam Ferrara (of TV’s “Rescue Me,” “Nurse Jackie” and “Top Gear”) is due at Comix Comedy Club at Mohegan Sun Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 22-24. The shows are Thursday at 8 p.m., Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 Saturday. Tickets are $20-$45.
In Branford, Thimble Island Brewery is offering what it is calling a “safe, socially distant” comedy show Saturday night, Oct. 24, with three comedians and a free beer with purchased ticket.
