ESSEX — Essex homeowners will open their homes to support Child & Family Agency of Southeastern CT Saturday Dec. 7 for a special holiday house tour in the heart of the village’s historic district.

The Essex River Valley Auxiliary presents this self-guided walking tour through seven distinctive houses, all gussied up for the holidays in downtown Essex.

In addition, the Essex Historical Society’s Pratt House Museum and the Connecticut River Museum, both decorated for the season, will be open to visitors and are included on the tour.

Visitors can also get a jump start on their holiday shopping by visiting the Holiday Boutique, featuring hand-crafted clothing, bespoke jewelry, unique home décor, festive holiday floral arrangements and more. The Holiday Boutique opens at 9:30 a.m. and is at Essex Town Hall at 29 West Avenue.
