GUILFORD - They jog our brains. They make us laugh. They’re anagrams — the shuffling of letters in words or phrases to create new ones — or, in the delightfully twisted mind of author and artist David Cundy, shenanagrams.
On Sunday, Nov. 3, Cundy will present a gallery opening and reading of his recent “Inappropriate Anagrams,” at the Guilford Free Library. The book features humorous biographies of 40 world-famous luminaries, including Cleopatra, Mona Lisa, Mary Shelley, Sigmund Freud and Superman.
The event is from 1-4 p.m. at Guilford Free Library, 67 Park St., Guilford. There will be a door prize and refreshments. Free and open to the public. The exhibition is from Nov. 1 – 30. For more information, visit davidcundyauthor.com.
