Connecticut forecast sees sun through Labor Day

Sunny weather continues on the unofficial final weekend of summer, and is expected to shine through Labor Day, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasts for Sunday show mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s.

Temperatures will remain in or around the 70s overnight Sunday, and Monday should see a repeat of Sunday’s weather.

Sunny weather also is expected to continue into Tuesday, with clouds rolling in Wednesday, a chance for isolated thunderstorms Thursday and morning showers Friday.

For those lamenting the end of summer this Labor Day, the official change in to autumn does not occur until Tuesday, Sept. 22.
