Culinary Arts Night slated for Sept. 19

Last year's Madison Culinary Arts Night put on by the Madison Exchange Club.

MADISON — The Madison Exchange Club will host its 16th annual Food Festival this year on the virtual cusp of fall on Sept. 19.

Shoreline residents are invited to come to downtown Madison and taste the food and drink offered by leading shoreline restaurants right in downtown Madison in the Courtyard adjoining Key Bank and Grand APizza.

Water, soft drinks, wine and beer will be provided to complement the outstanding food selections brought by top shoreline restaurants (who serve families extending from New Haven to East Haddam).

This year’s event features some 35 to 40 restaurants and wine shops with the finest hors d’oeuvres and libations. This early evening event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m. Special entertainment includes a band and a high reward raffle and silent auction all centered in the downtown courtyard adjoining the Key Bank.

Tickets are $40 per person. All proceeds benefit the Madison Exchange Club’s service programs including five Connecticut Child Abuse Prevention centers. Tickets are available through Madison Exchange Club members as well as online at or at walk-up locations including the Madison Racquet & Swim Club, R J Julia Booksellers, and Robert’s Food Center.
