OLD LYME — The annual Midsummer Festival opens Friday, July 26, with a concert featuring Connecticut troubadour Nekita Waller at 7 p.m.on the lawn of the Florence Griswold Museum, and continues from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 27, in the heart of Old Lyme’s historic district. Activities include shopping, the LYSB Midsummer 5K, Antique Car Show, Fence Show Artists Exhibition and Sale, art sale and specialty vendors, Parading Paws Dog Show, Hands-on/Mind-on Fun Station, Bohemian Street Fair, live music and lunch, Phoebe’s BookCellar Book Sale, Outdoor Sculpture Garden.
